Questions
Where are my plants and photos stored?
Only on your iPhone, in Leafery’s storage; there is no account or cloud copy. Your iPhone’s iCloud or computer backup includes them. To keep a copy of your own, export it (next question).
How do I keep a copy, or move to a new iPhone?
In Settings › Your data, tap Export and save the file somewhere safe, such as Files or iCloud Drive. On the new iPhone, install Leafery, open Settings › Your data and choose Restore from an export. Restoring an iCloud backup to a new iPhone also brings Leafery’s data.
Why does Leafery say “check” and not “water”?
A reminder asks you to touch the substrate. Tap Checked when it is still moist: Leafery looks again after half the plant’s interval. Tap Watered when you watered: the next check comes one interval later.
I don’t receive reminders.
Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings › Leafery › Notifications, and that reminders are on in Leafery’s To do tab. Reminders are scheduled ahead on your iPhone for about two months: open Leafery from time to time to extend them.
What are Seasons?
In Settings › Seasons (off by default), choose your country: in winter, each plant is checked at its winter interval, suggested as one and a half times its usual interval. You can change the winter months and each plant’s winter interval.
How do I delete my data?
Use Settings › Your data › Erase all data, or delete the app. Exports you saved elsewhere are not affected; delete them yourself if you want. See the privacy policy.
